Description

Several mob types behave incorrectly when used to attack as a pet under the sorcerers charm spell. They seem to teleport repeatedly backwards as they move toward the target, as if the server has instantly reset their position to a certain distance away from the target. The also do not attack while this is occuring.

List of mobs I've found that do this :
Wind Mephit
Basilisk (pseudo and normal)

I'll add comments as I find more.

Reproduction Steps

1. Charm one of the effected mobs as a Sorcerer
2. Select a target and use the pet attack button in the pet UI window
3. Watch the charmed pets behavior

Intended Behavior

I would say check the Mobs AI Brain script and make sure it's position isn't being erroneously set to some hard coded value that is merely relative to the target mob, instead of correctly being stopped at the correct melee range by pathing, where its melee attack is then called.

The end result should be that the mob smoothly paths up to the target, gets to melee range, stops, then starts to melee.

This actually may be why it doesn't attack either, the pathing is continually setting the pets position to just outside melee range. Just a guess though

Evidence

N/A, the mob behavior is clearly erroneous visually and functionally as pets are always suppose to attack.
