Description

I am fighting knotted fellwoods in the Pennine Mountains with my Mercenary. During combat my target is hirring me for 59 and 66 hps when it connects. When I get a 34% attack speed debuff on the target the attack speed does reduce, but the mob is suddenly hitting me for 102 hps per shot. A debuff should be a penalty and the mobs should hit for the same amount of hps while under it. Instead you are compensating them for their slower swing speed and that is punishing me for landing the debuff.

Reproduction Steps

1. Initiate standard melee with a mob.
2. After allowing some standard swings to determine the average hit damage apply a weapon speed debuff
3. Note that the mob is suddenly hitting a lot harder.

Intended Behavior

A debuff should be a penalty that hurts the target and helps the one who lands it. The mob should check it's standard attack speed and dps for the swing and not adjust for the new attack speed by allowing more damage.

Evidence

It should be intuitive that a debuff does not allow the target to hit harder in compensation.
