Description

When you as a low level character, e.g. 12, are grouped with a level 50 character killing monsters which are yellow and blue for the level 50 character, the level 12 character is not getting capped XP. I get varying XP depending on if the level 50 char is killing a yellow or blue monster.

This was not the case before the update, and is as far as I know not the intendet behaviour.

Reproduction Steps

1. Take a low level Character.
2. Group with a level 50 Character.
3. Let the level 50 Character kill yellow monsters.

Intended Behavior

Seeing how I get varying experience depending on if the level 50 character is killing yellow or blue monsters, it seems as as if the formula calculates the amount of XP the level 50 character would get relative to his cap, and then translates it to the low level character. Example with arbitrary numbers:

Yellow monster gives level 50 character 35% of his cap XP ->
The grouped, not involved low level character gets 35% of his own cap XP.

It should be reversed to the prior formula. When the level 50 char gets 6 million XP per monster, the low level char gets 6 million XP, or his cap. Whichever is hit first.

Evidence

You can ask pretty much anyone on the server that it is indeed a bug. Here footage from a different server on the 1.65 Patch where XP works as intended while powerleveling:
