When the necromancer spec line spell Visions of Death is cast after the baseline spell Specters of Death, the spec line spell will fail. If they are cast in opposite order (Visions of Death then Specters of Death) the spell will complete correctly
1. Cast spell Specters of Death (from Deathsight Mastery)
2. Cast spell Visions of Death (from base line Deathsight)
3. The base line spell will fail saying the mob already has the effect.
Both of these spells should stack and not be required to be cast in a particular order for the spells to succeed.
