The Staff of Life, from the quest "Staff of Life", sold to a vendor but did not give coin or display any information that an interaction between the user and the vendor even occurred.
1. Do the Staff of Life quest for the Staff of Life.
2. Sell it to a vendor.
3. Notice no coin or display was given upon doing so.
The Staff of Life should be given a value or at least a display saying any interaction occurred between the user and the vendor.
The proof of behavior is in the screenshot. I sold the staff first and noticed there was no price so I sold 3 other items to make sure the vendor wasn't bugged and they sold and displayed a value upon doing so. One thing I did not do was appraise the item first (because I didn't know it was bugged). That may show what it should be worth if anything.
