I received the 'Search for the Missing Smith' quest from Ewen in TNN, who sent me to talk to Sian in MM. I get a text dialog when I right click him, where he asks 'is this [about Ceard]? everyone keeps asking about him'. When I click [about Ceard] Sian asks 'Well, what about him?' and then stops responding. I've tried multiple /whisper text messages (e.g., Ceard is missing; missing; have you seen Ceard) all with no response, so I'm stuck at this point.
1. Get 'Search for the Missing Smith' quest (lvl 38) from Ewen in TNN (I'm a hero, if it matters).
2. Go and talk to Sian in Mag Mell as directed
3. Attempt to get him to give you the next part of the quest chain.
Response from Sian or clue what to whisper to him.
I've tried all I can to get a response. Using '/whisper materials' to Dera in MM worked for the Secret of Nuada's Silver quest just after I encountered this bug with Sian.
