I have been with a Necro in Llyn Barfog attacking the Mob "Ifor" (loc around= 19014, 24554). When we pulled Ifor he started to cast some spell. I interrupted it by using cleric baseline stun. After that "Ifor" did not engage back.
1. Go to LLyn Barfog
2. Pull Ifor
3. One he starts to cast a spell, interrupt him with a stun
Make him change to melee after he gets interrupted, so he can fight back
I can not proof that he ever fought back in version 1.65. But if, it was buggy back then too
