Many players adjust the gamma on their monitors or previously used 3rd party tools to adjust the in-game gamma to something more viewable. People with vision issues as well as those with good vision have a hard time seeing certain places due to incredible in game darkness.
This can already be done with hardware/software on the OS side - but requires it to be changed/reset every time the player does something other than play Uthgard.
1. Have normal gamma settings on your monitor
2. Have bad vision
3. Can't see much of anything in certain areas of the game world at night.
