Description

Skald speed song is being dropped instantly after bard aoe amensia lands.

Skald speed is a song same as every other speed class and when amensia lands it should only cancel the tick, and you will only drop out of speed WHEN your song pulse duration runs out. You regain speed once again after combat flag expires and your next tick from speed song are back up.

Reproduction Steps

1. Run around with a skald on speed 6.
2. Have a bard hit you with AOE amensia.
3. Speed drops instantly regardless of how long duration the skald song pulse has left.

Intended Behavior

Skald speed is a song same as every other speed class and when amensia lands it should only cancel ONE tick in the songs pulse. Depending on how far the skald song is in its pulse duration you will get a varying duration of speed lasting AFTER amensia lands.

For example:

Say skald has 4.0s tick rate with a 4.1s pulse (overlapps to not cause micro drops of speed, which it currently does so you got this wrong as well, please adress this)

If amnesia lands at 0.1s of the pulse then you will have speed for an additional 4.0s until 4.1s total, were you loose speed since your pulse (4.1s) isn't refreshed again since the 4.0s tick rate is canceled by amnesia.

Amnesia on its own have a triggering time, it does not last forever, and IF you re-apply speed after amensia trigger time has worn off you will keep your speed even AFTER amensia is casted on you. This is not so common on skalds since you need to time it, but on minstrels and bards which instruments quality effect the pulse duration of the song this is much more easy to manage.

The tick and pulse times are not the ACTUAL ones, I don't play a speed class and it has to be tested, and timed. But tick rate and pulse are not on the same timer, they are two different timers that overlap eachother. Tick rate is fixed and pulse duration is effected by quality of instrument.

Evidence

The proof of how the current state of hib aoe amensia vs skald speed is wrong is clear as day. Amnesia cancels tick rate, not pulse. Period.

Tick and pulse is seperate and on different duration/timer so they can overlap eachother. Has always been like this and it still is on live.

Amnesia cancels tick of speed song. But it isn't a damage spell, only damage spells can instantly cancel speed.

Snares, debuffs etc flags your combat timer which prevents speed tick from being applied until combat flag is = 0. Thats why for example a skald can get debuffed, and not loose speed and then double tap speed and regain speed instantly after he drops out of it for 0.1s (microsecond) IF combat flag and pulse duration is fairly timered i.e combat flag expire after pulse duration runs out.

In essence amensia has no different effect on breaking speed then a debuff, ns and so on.

1) Amensia flags you for combat = interrupts tick rate of song but does nothing to the current pulse duration
2) Amensia makes you "forget" the spell you cast, which interrupts your tick rate abut does nothing to the current pulse duration.
3) Amensia also flags the bard for combat and interrupts HIS OWN tick rate but does nothing to the current pulse duration
