Killing hamadryads in lyonesse they occasionally drop vials of green tree blood (alch ingredient). If you take the item and move it lower in your inventory and loot another vial they do not stack automatically.
1. Kill hamadryad
2. loot vial
3. move vial farther down in your inventory.
4. kill another hamadryad
5. loot vial
6. dont stack
Items of the same type that are looted AND are stackable should auto stack.
Standard behavior for stackable items. Should apply to all.
