Description

This is a resubmission of Issue 2367 with additional evidence.

Pets should become immune to mezz spells once they are below ~90% life. This is due to them following the same "enrage mechanic" that mobs abide by in PvE. Currently on Uthgard pets do not abide by this mechanic.

Reproduction Steps

1. Duel a Necro
2. Damage the Necro pet
3. Mezz the pet
4. Verify that the pet cannot move and is mezzed.

Intended Behavior

Pets should abide by the enrage mechanic and become unmezzable once they are under 90% health.

Evidence

Multiple reports from before as well as after show that pets were abiding by the enrage mechanic before the 1.65 patch time (shown in the 1.60 Necro TL report) and multiple reports after 1.65 show that the mechanic was still in place.

"- Necro pet unmezzable when under 90% health
This is exactly like mob coding. "

"RR5 Calming Notes:

This RA COULD be a very effective RA, but the observed resist rates are felt to be too high and one frequently gets a "target is enraged and cannot be mezzed" message. This is particularly noticeable on Animist turrets. Can it also be changed to be a ranged AE spell as opposed to a pbae spell since most Minstrels consider it suicide to charge into the enemy. "

3. Pets become enraged and immune to mesmerization after even slight damage is done to them.

No way to change this. Pet code and monster code are similar and can't be seperated at this time.

Soooo-the pet outright resists per level of the caster, but is immune to mesmerisation after getting past the enraged threshold. This is a "best of both worlds" scenario where the pet, if it truly is similar to a mob, should be resisting as if it was a mob of that level and not the level of the caster. Will respin next report, this is ridiculous.

Reports clearly show pets were functioning this way before 1.65 and still functioning that way after.

Videos that were posted in the other Issue never showed the pets health when it was mezzed thus not showing whether the pet ahd been damaged to put it in the enrage range.
