I have a Hero with the name of "Musculus".
Now I want it to have the lastname "Haudraufundschlus" (German pseudo-Latin meaning "just beat them and its done")
When I go to the last name guy in TNN and enter /lastname Haudraufundschlus I receive the following message:
"The combination of your character's name and that lastname is not allowed!"
However, when I then tried /lastname Handzumgrus it worked perfectly.
As I fail to see any reason why the full name "Musculus Haudraufundschlus" should be disallowed while the full name "Musculus Handzumgrus" should be allowed I consider this to be a bug.
1. Create a char named "Musculus"
2. Become level 50 at the helpful cat
3. Go to the lastname guy in TNN and type /lastname Haudraufundschlus
4. Notice that no lastname will show up but instead you get the message "The combination of your character's name and that lastname is not allowed!"
5. Now type /lastname Handzumgrus and notice that this works fine
Actually I have no idea what the actual bug is. In my opinion there are to possible ways:
1) "Haudraufundschlus" consists of too many letters. Then one simply receives the wrong message
2) There is some algorithm intended to prevent names that do not fit into the rules. Should that be the case then it must be reworked in a way the "Musculus Haudraufundschlus" is allowed.
As I said:
When "Musculus Handzumgrus" is allowed then there is no reason why "Musculus Haudraufundschlus" should be disallowed.
