Guild Preparation should be available to all classes from their class trainer starting at level 4. It is unfortunately not with the two classes I tried it with (Acolyte and Fighter, Cotswold and Humberton respectively).
1. Gain level 4 with any class in any region.
2. Return to class trainer
3. See that Guild Preparation is not offered as a quest
All of the basic class trainers should offer Guild Preparation to their respective classes at level 4 and it should be unavailable at level 5.
