Logged out of my character on mid in order to change graphics settings. Was running at 1900 x 1080 with shadows and having some lag, so logged out and changed NVIDIA settings to detect any programs in the DAOC folder as programs to use the dedicated graphics card (instead of the intel integrated graphics which was the default). Tried to log back in and was unsuccessful, so undid these changes. Continued to attempt to log in but continued to get error "An error has occurred and you are unable to connect. Hit ESC to exit game". Restarted computer, ensured Atlantis UI was still selected, tried tweaking the resolution on character select screen, all without any improvement. Contacted dev who felt this might be server side issue and requested this post, character name was Kwic this was occurring around 12:00 EST
