As a Skald, I did a large amount of damage to a Necro's abomination. Another player (ungrouped) got the killing blow on the Necro player. I did not get any RPs for this kill.
1. Do a significant amount of damage to a necro pet with another player
2. Let the other player get the death blow on the necro player
3. Observe no RPs gained
I should get RPs for doing significant damage to the necromancer pet even if I do not hit/kill the necro player after the pet dies.
From personal experience playing DAoC on/off the last 15 years, hitting the necro pet always yielded RPs even if you did not get the death blow on the player.
