So it is possible to dupe stuff via Housing Vaults, i made some screenshots on how to reproduce it, maybe ppl can help to figure out what is causing this to get the problem solved.
There is also something odd going on with the slots inside your Housing Vault (maybe related to the duping method). Items are vanishing but they are still inside your Vault. You can make them appear again by moving other items. So there are maybe more slots available than shown inside your Vault.

I don't know at what point the items are saved inside your Housing Vault, but to me it seems like you have to close the Vault to save all changes and by doubleclicking the Vault, you can bypass it.
