While killing Ekyps Scavengers i dropped a pair of Ringed Darksteel Boots (84AF) then salvaged for 5 Steel metal bars. Lvl42 items should salvage for asterite+ bars.
1. Go to spindelhalla and slain Ekyps Scavenger until u get a pair of Ringed Darksteel Boots
2. Salvage it
3. See it yields Steel bars
These boots should salvage into 5 arcanite (or maybe even arcanium) bars.
Lvl 42 item cannot salvages into lvl 15 components, here's the item on zam's DB but it won't say the salvage vaules http://camelot.allakhazam.com/item.html?citem=1793
