Description

While out of combat, and sitting, power regeneration on traditional healing classes (cleric for the sake of example) is far lower than that of traditional mage classes (cabalist) even when the mages are in combat. The regeneration of a cleric while sitting (above the 50% threshold) is roughly 3% per 5 seconds, and half that while standing. A cabalist in combat will see a regeneration of 9%, and then 15% roughly 10 seconds later. This means power regeneration is effectively amounting to 9-10% regeneration over 15 seconds for a sitting, out of combat cleric. Mages effectively see a 24% regeneration over 15 seconds while in combat. I can confirm the same discrepancy for druids vs mentalists as well with no outside source of regeneration (pom). My lvl 5 cabalist has roughly 44 power points, regenerating 9% the first "tick" of combat (4 power), and then 15% the second "tick" (6.6 power). My level 11 cleric has roughly 150 power points, and regenerates 3% every 5 seconds (4.5 power) while above the 50% threshold, sitting and out of combat. In combat, the cleric regenerates 2-3% power per 15 seconds (3-5 power at lvl 11). This means that "mage" regeneration is almost double that of "healers". I also recognize that percentages will be skewed as characters get larger power pools.

Reproduction Steps

1. Create a "mage" class, and a "healing" class
2. Level them to 5 to become a secondary class, and exhaust some power
3. Take note of the regeneration differences in power regeneration both in combat and out

Intended Behavior

The amount of power regenerated per "tick" should be universal with no outside sources such as power regeneration buffs. Percentages with power pools and class. I scoured the archives and wiki but there are no direct quotes on the matter that i could find. It seems to me that both healing classes' power regeneration is too low and mages slightly too high, but i would lean on your expertise in the matter.

I'd ask that you revisit these regeneration rates to make sure they're working properly.

Maybe im wrong but i don't remember such a large discrepancy.

while i realize that this site isn't an accurate source, i would draw your attention to some of the links referenced and information cited from them:

"As you can see they also list the regen as a percentage which is what I always assumed it was; a percentage of your total power pool."
