The level48 steps of Passage to Eternity provide no reward, and the level50 quest can be taken before level50, also offering low exp reward and armour that can't be equipped.
1. Take the paladin/cleric epic quest line until you get the quest "Passage to Eternity"
2. Complete steps up until step 22 as a level 48
3. Complete steps 22, 23 and 24
4. Receive no reward
5. Receive the level 50 quest (step 25) despite being below 50
6. Complete the remaining steps including fighting Sister Blythe (way too many adds spawn compared to live)
7. Receive reward
8. Try wearing armour reward.
Steps 22 and 24 should provide approximately 1 bubble of exp in total between them, no material reward should be given. At the moment you get neither.
As far as I remember, the 50 quest was only doable once level 50. I believe this was changed around patch 1.7X because epic armour is pretty bad at 50, so perhaps this change could remain.
However epic armour was always equippable at any level, it now has a level50 restriction on it. The armour will probably become redundant now since it is poor compared to crafting.
The final battle with sister blythe had more mobs spawn than is usual.
Level 50 quest should offer more experience reward.
